ANNOUNCEMENTS

BRING YOUR HEART

On Saturday, January 30th, join CHAS DiCAPUA for Bringing the Heart into our Practice. We cultivate the Noble Eightfold Path using two different, yet complimentary modes of practice, using technique or using intuition. This day-long online retreat will explore what it’s like to be in the more intuitive, heart-felt mode of practice.

AGING, AWARENESS, AWAKENING

The elder years can be filled with opportunities for growth, reflection, and deepening in wisdom and love — a promising time indeed. Join OLIVIA HOBLITZELLE for Aging, Awareness and Awakening, Friday mornings beginning February 5th. This course is an invitation to inquire deeply into how we live the later stages of life.

BEGINNERS WORKSHOP

New to meditation? Join MADELINE KLYNE for our Beginners’ Insight Meditation Workshop, Saturday, February 6th from 9:00am to 1:00pm. We’ll explore the basics of Insight Meditation through formal meditation instruction, guided sitting and walking practice, and group discussion with plenty of time for questions.

JOB OPENING

CIMC is hiring for a new full-time position: Program Manager. Click here to review the job description. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until the position is filled, and should be sent to clare@cambridgeinsight.org

A Welcoming Community

The Cambridge Insight Meditation Center is dedicated to creating a space that welcomes all people regardless of cultural and religious background, race, socio-economic class, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, education, and physical ability. Financial support for our programs is available to all.

As Guiding Teachers, we are committed to offering the essence of the Buddha's message of liberation and it is our intention to apply these teachings to every aspect of daily life. We recognize that for many people, everyday life means being subject to social injustice on a regular basis. As a community and institution, we are committed to the freedom—both inner and outer—of all beings. Hopefully, CIMC and the Buddha's teachings can contribute in a small way to the necessary changes that will facilitate social justice.

May we all cultivate wisdom and compassion and recognize the interdependence of all beings everywhere.
