ANNOUNCEMENTS

FREEDOM FROM CONFLICT

Join Chas DiCapua — either in person or online — for a day of transformative exploration into Conflict and the Ending of Conflict, Saturday, April 1. Ancient Buddhist teachings and modern communication strategies will help you understand how conflict arises, how to let it go, and how conflict can often be avoided in the first place.

AWAKENING FOR INNER FREEDOM

CIMC welcomes Devin Berry and Tara Mulay back to the Center for a day-long retreat Awakening with Patience, Courage, and Compassion, Saturday, April 8th. Join them in person or online. These three qualities can be developed in our daily-life practice as well as during the meditative process, enabling us to live our lives more skillfully, with greater wisdom and inner freedom.

MONDAYS AT CIMC

Deepen your practice in community. Join MADELINE KLYNE on Mondays at CIMC for two drop-in programs: Tea-Time Dharma (4:00-5:30 pm) and Sitting & Sangha (6:00-7:15 pm). Please arrive on time as the doors will close ten minutes into the program. Check our online calendar for holiday exceptions.

DHARMA IN DAILY LIFE

Join Narayan Helen Liebenson and the CIMC community for Dharma in Daily Life (online), weekdays from 8:45-9:00 am. A brief sit, Dharma reflections, and a “practice for the day” support you to live each day in a more connected, wise, generous, and loving way. Join here.

A Welcoming Community

The Cambridge Insight Meditation Center is dedicated to creating a space that welcomes all people regardless of cultural and religious background, race, socio-economic class, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, education, and physical ability. Financial support for our programs is available to all.

As Guiding Teachers, we are committed to offering the essence of the Buddha's message of liberation and it is our intention to apply these teachings to every aspect of daily life. We recognize that for many people, everyday life means being subject to social injustice on a regular basis. As a community and institution, we are committed to the freedom—both inner and outer—of all beings. Hopefully, CIMC and the Buddha's teachings can contribute in a small way to the necessary changes that will facilitate social justice.

May we all cultivate wisdom and compassion and recognize the interdependence of all beings everywhere.
