When we freely offer our help in the running of CIMC, in addition to nourishing the precious quality of generosity, we are helping to create a beautiful environment that in its own way is part of the sangha. Our generosity supports a community of like-minded friends, and brings about awareness and the liberating wisdom and compassion that flow from clear seeing.
Larry RosenbergCIMC Founder and Guiding Teacher
Our volunteers, through their gifts of time and energy, provide vital support that allows CIMC to honor several core commitments:
- to offer the Buddha’s teachings to all,
- to dissolve financial barriers to our Dharma programs, and
- to keep the costs of programs and running the Center as low as possible.

We invite all who participate at CIMC to consider volunteering in some way as part of their practice. Bringing open-hearted awareness and mindful presence to whatever service is offered can be a way of integrating and deepening the teachings in one’s life. In turn, we work to ensure that volunteers are appreciated, supported, and engaged in ways that are meaningful.
