35 & Under Greeter
Overview
The 35 & Under Greeter is responsible for welcoming attendees and closing up. This sangha meets every other week on Sundays from 7:00pm-8:15pm.
Skills, Experience, and Qualities
- 35 years of age or under
- Familiar with the Center to answer questions
- Friendly, welcoming, calm
Responsibilities
- Arrive 15 minutes before start of the program to unlock doors
- Welcome people and explain details of using the Center
- Answer questions as needed
- Put out cookies for social time afterwards
- Close the door and make sure everyone has left the Center by 9pm
Time Committment
- One-year commitment (renewable)
- 1 Sunday night every other month
- 2.5 hours from 6:45-9:15pm
Notes
Volunteer Greeter may attend the Group for free once their responsibilities are completed (after 7:15). This role is eligible for work exchange of up to .75 hour.
