In July 1985, Larry Rosenberg founded CIMC with the mission to nurture a contemplative life amid the complexities of daily living. Soon thereafter Narayan Helen Liebenson joined him as a Guiding Teacher. Join us as we celebrate four decades of mindfulness and community at CIMC!
Our gathering will begin in the dharma hall with 1.25 hours of reflections from teachers and community members, including comments from Narayan Helen Liebenson, Matthew Hepburn, Madeline Klyne, and Sharon Salzberg. In-person participants are then invited downstairs for a community reception and refreshments.
Join us in celebrating this milestone as we reflect on the past, celebrate the present, and envision the future together.
All are welcome. Whether you first stepped foot inside CIMC decades ago or recently logged onto Dharma in Daily Life for the first time, you are part of the wonderful community that CIMC has become. We hope you will join us.
