“These two people are hard to find in the world. Which two? The one who is first to do a kindness, and the one who is grateful for a kindness done.” The Buddha, from the Anguttara Nikaya
Life with all its ups and downs and challenges does not have to be grim! In this four-week practice group, we will come together to see what happens when we choose to act like people the Buddha would celebrate as rare and valuable, “hard to find in the world”.
In this practice group, we will dedicate a month to bringing kindness and gratitude to the forefront of our Dharma practice and our daily lives. In this way, we intentionally train the mind to take delight and to find rest in gladness and sharing the good.
This program is appropriate for beginners and experienced practitioners alike. Our time together will include talks, guided meditation instructions, and ample opportunity for discussion and questions. Everyone is welcome.
This program will not be recorded. Full and partial scholarships are available up to 72 hours before the start of the program.
