This program will be held online via Zoom. All registrants will receive the link to join the program in their Order Confirmation email. Times are ET.

The venerable meditation master Ajahn Maha Boowa defined the concept of nirvana as “enough”. The practice of insight meditation leads to the lived understanding of inner wholeness. When we understand the limitations of conditions – empty of substantiality, impermanent, and confined – we stop looking for lasting happiness where it can’t be found and turn our attention within.

This class for experienced practitioners will deepen our exploration into what it means to live with a heart and mind that is spacious and vast, even in the midst of loss and change which are inevitable in all of our lives. Engaging the teachings and practices of the Buddha, we will find ways to turn the sting and anguish of loss into a direct experience of enoughness – the deep joy, peace, and happiness within our own hearts that exist beyond mere circumstances.

During our time on this theme, we will continue to explore different ways to know enoughness within, and for, ourselves. Sessions will include sitting and walking meditation, talks, discussion, Q&A, and small group/dyad practice. Meditative homework will be assigned each week and discussed as a vital aspect of each session.

This program will not be recorded. Full and partial scholarships are available up to 72 hours before the start of the program.

Note: This class will not meet on March 28.

This program is appropriate for experienced meditators who have been practicing Vipassana with dedication and perseverance for at least three years and who have sat one or more intensive silent retreats. Participants are expected to have a current daily meditation practice.
