In-person space is limited. Registration will close at 12:00 pm on Friday, November 15th. Walk-in registrations will not be available. A vegetarian lunch will be provided.
Join fellow learners and meditators for a day of inner contemplation and outer peace and quiet. This day of sitting and walking mindfulness and loving-kindness meditation will be supported by light guidance from CIMC Guiding Teacher Matthew Hepburn.
Together we will create an environment of silent solidarity for the cultivation of well-being and transforming the causes of inner and outer stress. This quiet, kind, welcoming atmosphere provides a deeply supportive environment for each participant to strengthen intimacy with their inner lives and meditation practice.
This program is appropriate for beginners and experienced practitioners alike. Everyone is welcome. The schedule for the day will include alternating periods of sitting and walking meditation, a break for lunch, light instructions offered by the teacher, and a Q&A session.
Full and partial scholarships are available up to 72 hours before the start of the program.
NOTE: At check-in, participants will be asked to volunteer for a short period of mindful service during the retreat—a “yogi job.” Yogi jobs enable the smooth running of the retreat and offer an opportunity to practice alongside other retreat participants.
