You may communicate with the office by telephone at (617) 441-9038, by leaving a note on the bulletin board outside the office, or by filling out and submitting this form. All fields are required.

All floors are accessible to people who use wheelchairs. An indoor wheelchair lift at the side entrance of the building leads to the first floor and the lower level.

An elevator is available for movement between the first, second, and third floors.
A wheelchair-accessible bathroom is available on the first floor of the building.
One parking space in the parking lot is reserved for people with disabilities.

If you plan to visit CIMC and need to use the lift, please contact the office ahead of time, since the outer lift entrance is normally locked.

2024 ANNUAL APPEAL KICK OFF

OUR 2024 ANNUAL APPEAL is underway. Our goal is to raise $230,000 by December 31. Your donation sustains our programs, scholarships, and ensures our Center will continue to be a refuge where the teachings of the Buddha are accessible to all. A YEAR LONG PRACTICE OPPORTUNITY

Explore the Pāramī or the “Ten Perfections of the Heart” in a year-long program with Madeline Klyne starting with a day-long workshop on January 11. Madeline will also be teaching Opening to Joy, an 8 week online practice group, starting on January 9.

POST ELECTION TEACHINGS: A TIME TO GATHER AT CIMC WITH SANGHA

Two CIMC sangha resources for equanimity while processing election results: Narayan’s insights on election season from her October 16 Dharma Talk or her annual Refuges and Precepts talk from November 13, where she applied theses teachings to life’s current context.

DHARMA IN DAILY LIFE

Join Narayan Helen Liebenson and the CIMC community for Dharma in Daily Life (online), weekdays from 8:45-9:00 am. A brief sit, Dharma reflections, and a “practice for the day” support you to live each day in a more connected, wise, generous, and loving way. Join here.

The Cambridge Insight Meditation Center is dedicated to creating a space that welcomes all people regardless of cultural and religious background, race, socio-economic class, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, education, and physical ability. As Guiding Teachers, we are committed to offering the essence of the Buddha's message of liberation and it is our intention to apply these teachings to every aspect of daily life. We recognize that for many people, everyday life means being subject to social injustice on a regular basis. As a community and institution, we are committed to the freedom—both inner and outer—of all beings. Hopefully, CIMC and the Buddha's teachings can contribute in a small way to the necessary changes that will facilitate social justice.

To support our steadfast commitment to the Dharma by ensuring a robust schedule of retreats, workshops and practice groups that allow for connection to community at the Center and on-line. This year we offered our first program taught in Spanish.
