Greeters are responsible for welcoming attendees, orient them to the space and give basic reminders of Center guidelines. They are familiar with the Center, the program they are Greeting for and able to answer questions from visitors.
Skills, experience, and qualities
- Familiar with the Center and able to answer questions from visitors.
- Comfortable handling money
- Friendly, welcoming, calm in a busy and social environment
- ***Affinity Group Greeters must meet the requirements of the particular affinity group (for example must be 35 years or younger to be a Greeter for the 35 and Under Sangha)
Responsibilities
- Arrive 15 minutes before start of the program to unlock doors and set up the hall
- Welcome people and explain details of using the Center
- Answer questions as needed
- Collect money and make change

15 minutes before start of the program to unlock doors and greet early arrivals. Actual time depends on program.
