Bert Seager

Bert Seager has been devoted to meditation practice and the dharma since 1989 and for 30 years has been an active community member and volunteer at CIMC, his spiritual home. Narayan Liebenson is his core teacher. He has enrolled in her experienced practitioner’s class on Tuesday evenings for over 20 years and has attended her annual “Your Life is Your Practice” week-long retreat at IMS for 28 years. He teaches jazz piano at the New England Conservatory in Boston and writes music that he plays and records with his band Heart of Hearing.
