Week 1 (4/6/2026)
The World Exists to Set Us Free Week 1 (4/6/2026) Home Practices
Hi Everyone,
As we begin our shared exploration of how Larry Rosenberg’s new book “The World Exists to Set Us Free” can help support the quality of our moment by moment living, please read: The ‘Portrait of Larry‘ section if you would like, and definitely chapters one and two (The Art of Meditation and Dharma in Daily Life). Together these form the basis of a unified approach to practice, learning to touch more inner freedom, as we began to explore last evening.
As I mentioned, please emphasize any aspects of the teachings that you think could help your practice and apply them.
I look forward to our shared formal practice and open Q and A session next week.
Warmly,
Matthew

Week 4 (5/4/2026)
The World Exists to Set Us Free Week 4 (5/4/2026) Home Practices
Hi Everyone,
Thanks for the rich sharing in our last class. For the next session we will be working with then next chapter: Aging, Sickness, Death, and Grief (pp. 157-175).
In my own practice it can be very challenging but also very rewarding to embrace these natural aspects of the full life cycle.
I hope you find this chapter supportive of your awareness practice this week, and I look forward to us connecting again next Monday evening.
Warmly,
Matthew
