Intention Setting Practice
Each day articulate for yourself an intention that feels meaningful to you. It can be specific or broad. After articulating the intention, see if you can clearly recognize/visualize/intuit how your meditation and dharma practice can and will support this intention.
Extra Credit
From the place where you do your formal practice, learn the orientation of the cardinal directions (North, South, East, West). Identify where the sun rises in relationship to your posture (sitting, standing, walking, or lying down). Begin bringing into awareness a relational orientation of the body with the earth and sun at the beginnings and ends of your daily meditation practice.
