We all are learning to live within our precious LGBTQIA+ lives. Getting to know our beauty, presence, joy, and truth. Aligning with our truth takes courage. To be comfortable in our own skin, with a sense of an inner belonging, with an inner presence, with a willingness to embody who we are, is truly a radical act of love, joy, and celebration!
Engaging with the ancient teachings and practices offered by the Buddha that cultivate mindfulness, wisdom, kindness, and joy, we will explore ways of sustaining a clear and open mind, and a kind and caring heart. Mindfulness practice allows us to experience for ourselves the aliveness of life. The more fully we open to and inhabit who we truly are, the more we can trust our own heart and awareness. We can make an inner commitment to an open heart, a clear mind and a life of wakefulness. We can resolve to live in accordance with what is true. When we do, our engagement with life becomes infused with kindness, compassion, wisdom.
So, let’s practice and explore this precious life! This retreat is an opportunity to come together, to care for ourselves and others, to remember who we really are and to reconnect with our innate beauty and inner goodness. Come join us for a unique way of being together in community to celebrate the possibilities of our lives. By taking care of ourselves and each other we can learn to trust the unfolding of our beauty and the preciousness of our lives.
This program is open to anyone who self-identifies as LGBTQIA+ and is appropriate for both new and experienced meditators of all ages and all levels of experience.
Full and partial scholarships are available.
