The Bahiya Sutta is a simple and profound teaching given by the Buddha to a genuine seeker who is fundamentally just like you and me. The succinct and direct pointers found in this teaching go straight to the essence of awakening to non-separation, often referred to as Non-Duality, which is available and possible for each of us.
We will us this Sutta to explore fundamental aspects of practice on and off the cushion using a method of inquiry that is simple in practice and potentially profound in outcome. Each session will include instruction, sitting and walking practice as well as the opportunity to discuss both the practice and the directed readings.
If you wish to deepen your exploration of how to live the teachings of this sutta, please consider this day-long retreat on Saturday, April 6th: The Bahiya Sutta: The Buddha’s Direct Teaching on Non-Dual Awakening.
