Meditation that aligns us with an inner sense of freedom is both an intuitive art and a lifelong craft. In this workshop, each of us will hone our meditation practice using the areas of Attention, Intention, and Attitude which allow us to become more attuned to the meditating mind and body. Through this attunement, we build confidence in our capacity to know when to make adjustments in our practice and what is called for.
At times we benefit most from the clarity of good technique, knowing what to do, learning how to continually refine our approach to meeting each moment with a mind that doesn’t add on any suffering. At other times, the results from our meditation improve when we allow our intuition to guide us. We go by feel, responding to our life in ways that may surprise us yet help us reestablish our inner wellbeing. Together we’ll explore both approaches.
This program is well-suited for both beginners and experienced meditators alike. Our time together will include guided and silent sitting meditation, walking meditation, Dhamma reflections as well as time for Q&A. Everyone is welcome.
Full and partial scholarships are available.
