No matter where we are or what we are doing, whether with others or alone, we are always in relationship. We cannot not be in relationship. And, these relationships are always stirring up feelings, sensations and perceptions which often feel pleasant or unpleasant. When we are possessed by our reactions to these situations we often act unskillfully, creating even greater unhappiness for ourselves and others based on our stories, projections and impulsivity.
In this course we will learn how to work with these reactions as our practice on and off the cushion as the opportunity and substance of our waking up into freedom. Relationship thus becomes an ongoing practice of self-knowing and we discover both a growing appreciation of our life in relationship and a real path of liberation.
This class will not meet on October 12.
