How are we to live? Whether we know it or not, there is an attempt to answer this question with our mind, speech and actions each moment of every day. Our challenge is to live in a way that produces beneficial results for ourselves and others.
Buddhadharma provides us with teachings and methods to help us meet this challenge in an intelligent and practical way. In addition to formal meditation practice, these teachings encourage us to develop and apply wisdom, a skill that can be learned and infused in everything we do.
Awareness, with an interest in learning from our experience, enables us to clearly see the suffering caused by clinging and moves us towards liberation. In this Practice Group, emphasis will be given to self-discovery that takes place within our relationships. Each session will include teachings, sitting and walking meditation as well as ample opportunity for discussion.
