|The Experienced Practitioners’ Practice Group provides a weekly opportunity for dedicated practitioners to sit and learn together. We are engaged in an ongoing and intensive exploration of the Noble Eightfold path, the Buddha’s particular framework for liberation and the end of suffering. The Noble Eightfold path is a way to bring awareness to all aspects of our lives and includes: wise view, wise intention, wise effort, wise mindfulness, wise concentration, wise speech, wise action and wise livelihood. Over the next several months our focus will be wise mindfulness.
Each meeting will include meditation practice, talks and discussion. An instruction is offered each week to be practiced between classes; this “homework” is a fundamental aspect of this Practice Group.
This program is intended for those who have been practicing Vipassana for at least three years and have sat one or more intensive silent retreats. Please review the prerequisites for this program.
Class will not meet on March 20th or April 10th.
