Tom Miller is a documentary film producer, CIMC Member and member of Narayan’s “Dharma in Daily Life” (DDL) morning sangha. He is currently doing research for what he hopes will become a documentary about DDL and its impact on sangha members, especially within the context of the pandemic. Narayan and I had the chance to speak with Tom at length about his ideas. We feel very positive about his intention, creativity, and the potential benefit of his project.
As part of his research, and to try to understand the bigger picture of DDL, Tom is collecting stories from other sangha members. He is especially interested in hearing the diversity of stories that represent the diversity of our amazing sangha: people who’ve been meditating for decades, some who are new to meditation, folks who never miss DDL, others who “drop in” when the time is right for them, older yogis and younger ones, etc.
If you would like to help and are willing to share a bit about your experience in DDL, we’d love to hear your story. Please email your story by June 15th to office@cambridgeinsight.org with the subject line: My DDL Story
Write as much or as little as you like — all voices will be helpful. What you send will be for Tom’s reflection as he develops his ideas for the documentary and will also be shared with Narayan. Thank you so much for considering this invitation. Due to anticipated volume, we will not be acknowledging receipt of the submissions. We look forward to hearing your story about what Dharma in Daily Life means to you!
